At Mpops Art School, we offer a creative and flexible way for children and teens to develop their artistic skills. Our main focus is on delivering Arts Award qualification courses — from Discover to Silver — as complete, pre-recorded packages with digital support from the team throughout.

    Hi, I’m Melanie—but everyone calls me Mpops! I’m a trained art specialist and primary school teacher.

    As a homeschooling mum and lifelong creative, I saw the need for high-quality, accessible art education that could work around real family life.

    That’s why I founded Mpops Art School—an online art school that offers Arts Award packages and art classes for kids, teens, and even grown-ups! My mission is to nurture creativity, build confidence, and make learning art fun and flexible.

    When I’m not teaching or creating courses, I’m usually painting, chasing my son around a museum, or being overly enthusiastic about colour wheels.

    At Mpops Art School, I lead the Art Award programmes, Foundation and and Art History courses—with a bit of humour and a lot of passion.

    Lewis brings a calm, creative energy to Mpops Art School, where he supports students transitioning from our Foundation Course into more advanced work. As the lead teacher on our Intermediate Course, Lewis focuses on helping young artists build confidence in drawing, composition, and observational skills.

    With a background in illustration and a deep love of nature, Lewis helps students slow down, look more closely, and draw with greater purpose. His journey from childhood sketchbooks to teaching is full of inspiration—and now he’s here to share it with the next generation of artists.
